apartments are located on Gallery Row, in the historic Flatiron building in downtown North
Adams - just steps from MASS MoCA, eateries and shops.
Nearby cultural attractions include MASS MoCA, Dark Ride Project,
Contemporary Artists Center, Main Street Stage, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts,
Williamstown Theatre Festival, Clark Art Institute, Williams College Museum of Art;
recreational attractions include swimming, skiing, fishing, bicycling, and hiking.
Bicycles are available (free) for recreational use by guests.
Completely renovated in 1999
, each small, one-bedroom apartment has complete linens and kitchen supplies, double bed, closet, private bathroom and kitchenette. A few apartments have an extra room with an extra twin bed. There is a telephone located in the
upstairs hall.
All fourteen apartments have cable and telephone jacks but guests must make arrangements to have them activated. A combo TV/VCR or TV/DVD is included in each apartment.
All apartments have the latest fire/smoke alarm systems and
individual heat controls. Each apartment has an air conditioner, but usually is not needed in
the Berkshires. Most of the apartments are minimally furnished with contemporary art; double beds are on low platforms. Free parking is available close by.
The condominium apartments are owned individually; reservations can be made either by
contacting Cire Corp or by contacting directly the owner of a specific apartment (see below).

The Flatiron Building
comes to a point, facing Route 2.
Historic Eagle Street is a charming, one-block narrow street with eateries and
shops. At the other end of the block is Main Street (Main Street Stage, eateries, Holiday
Inn).
MASS MoCA (art exhibitions and performances) is about two blocks away, and
some of the apartments have views of the museum complex.
Grocery and drug stores, post office, laundromat, and banks are all located within
a block or two. There is a swimming lake in North Adams, near the college (MCLA) and
less than one mile from the Flatiron Building.
